question when i complier

I have already installed libwww
but when i use a exampl 
there are some error emssage to me
"[C++ Error] HTUser.h(137): E2141 Declaration syntax error."
the cause is variable  "time_t"
what is time_t ?
and what is "time_t" data structure?
and How can i solution it's problem.
