I just fixed cache bug which can cause the "wild socket" message to appear in traces. The fix is really minor and is available at http://dev.w3.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/libwww/Library/src/HTCache.c#rev2.66 As usual, you can get it at http://www.w3.org/Library/cvs.html#update and instructions for recompiling are at http://www.w3.org/Library/cvs.html#Easy (I am technically out of office so sorry for not responding to the various mails on the list).
