I'm using:

	 libtool 1.2 (as I hadn't updated it).
	 automake 1.4
	 aclocal 1.4
	 autoconf 2.13
	 autoheader 2.13

in a solaris box. I'm able to compile libwww without problems. I was also
able to do so on linux boxes.

In news:gnu.announces, the developers of libtool say there were some
conflicts between libtool 1.3 and autoconf. They released libtool 1.3.2,
but apparently there are other conflicts remain.
