Libwww release 5.2.8 is out

With help from Jim Gettys we managed to wrap up the current state of libwww
and generate RPMs which presumably made it into the upcoming redhat 6.0
release! As usual, you can get it from

Especially thanks to Olga Antropova, Vladimir Kozlov, John Punin Olga
Antropova, Jose Kahan, Vladimir Kozlov, John Punin, Bob Racko, and Raffaele
Sena for all their hard work and cool new features including HTML/4, HTTP
redirections in the robot HTTP cookies, SSL transport etc.

Regarding Olga's SSL code - we have been told by Jeff Schiller that we can
serve it to the US out of his export controlled server. As it really isn't
a lot of code, it shouldn't be too hard to do a similar module outside the
US and make it available there.

Upcoming is John Punin's RDF parser which is next on the list - I am really
exited about this!

Better handling of C++ and other exiting tasks are also on the todo list:

As always - the more help the faster progress!

Have fun,

Henrik
