I need help when compiling libwww

I'm trying to compile libwww on solaris 2.4.

I've done make
and it come the following message :
Unexpected end of line seen.

It comes from ./config/Makefile

PERL := $(wildcard *.pl)
SRC := $(wildcard *.c)
