JDK v1.1 & IP-based aliasing

IP-based aliasing is lacking in the existing system due to the non-existent
support for it in the v1.0.x version of the JDK.

Any ETA for this feature given the release of the v1.1 JDK?  Is this
something we have to wait until Jigsaw v1.0a6/b1 (i.e., something like May
for us non W3C members?)?
