You're right. I was thinking of 'accept'. It doesn't seem like "*" is
legal in HTTP/1.1 in "accept-charset:".

So you're stuck using

accept-charset: utf-8,iso-8859-5

for your preferred encodings, or just leaving the whole thing out and
taking what the sender sends you.

Maybe that's not so bad?
