r12a has just labeled an issue for https://github.com/w3c/webvtt as "i18n": == CR bug: support scrolling for vertically rendered text == https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=28268 The whole region concept has been defined for horizontal cues at this stage only, including scrolling. We should generalize this for vertical cues and scrolling, but may be a v2 version. See https://github.com/w3c/webvtt/issues/316
