I don't know the answer to your question, but you might
want to post your question to the public Microsoft
newsgroup at news:microsoft.public.win32.programmer.international
...you must use the msnews.microsoft.com news server to get
to it. Lots of helpful engineers hang out there.

My suggestion is don't bother with IE4 at all re Asian versions.
You will be chasing bugs that will never be fixed.
