I don’t know, but this week is the XTech 2005 conference in Amsterdam, 
and the description on the programme for the XHTML 2.0 lecture mentioned 
XHTML would enter Last Call at about the same time. Last Call is one 
step before Candidate Recommendation, at which point user agents can 
start to implement it. What can I say... 6 months until then? A year? 
Maybe less, maybe more. Just a rough estimate.
