SizeGroup

I think that there should be something like the SizeGroup (of the gtk+ 
toolkit), allowing elements placed anywhere to be equally wide and/or 
high, 
automatically adjusted when any of them grows or shrinks.
Do you 
think it's a good idea, and if so should it be part of xhtml or css?
