cookie question.

The question is: 

can server a.serverOne.com read the cookies set b.serverOne.com ?

i.e: can servers in the same domain read each other's cookies ?

I know one way this can be achieved is by setting the "domain" attrinute in the Javascript setCookie ( ) function .

any other way this can be achived ?
