One reason I like XHTML is that UAs can process it faster*, another is 
that the validation tools teach me more quickly.
Are the results more standardised across UAs as well?
Is it wrong to save with an HTML extension and serve as text/html but 
with an XHTML doctype? seems to work well enough.
