Elements within lists - a little off topic

I cannot find a specific reference to this so I would appreciate any
assistance. In XHTML 1.1, is there any restriction to what can be nested
within the
element of a list? For instance, is it fine to make use of

,
,
and heading elements within the list structure?

Please reply off list because this is a little off topic.

Kind regards
