From the abstract for HTML 4.01 [1]: "HTML 4 is an SGML application
conforming to International Standard ISO 8879 -- Standard Generalized
Markup Language [ISO8879]." Including two (free) corrigenda and one
amendment, this can be obtained (for example) for a total of CHF 286 from
ISO or USD 194 from ANSI.
