Citing an off-line resource

How does one cite a book in HTML? <blockquote> doesn't seem to
have a way of indicating an off-line source.

I suppose you could create a separate biliographic entry and
'cite' it, but that doesn't seem quite right--you're not citing
the entry; you're citing the resource it describes.
