I'm sure that all lists are occationally checked up on by someone in charge, 
and it wouldn't be censorship of an illegal kind to prohibit a certain class 
of blatent advertising that doesn't pertain to the stated purpose of this 
list. If a "moderator" or whoever does the checking happens to come across 
such messages, he should do something about it such as delete the message, 
block the offenders future postings, or warn him not to do it again.
