This incorrectly reports Lynx 2.8.1 as not
being cookie capable.  More generally, this
sort of approach tends to discriminate 
against minority browsers as it tends not
to track them in a timely fashion resulting
in errors like the above.

Worse, it is often associated with a refusal
to talk to the browser at all, whereas well
designed HTML would have allowed the page
to have been useable (even without adapting it
to any browser).
