Netscape Plug-ins and <OBJECT>

What would the correct syntax be for including a plug-in with the new HTML
<OBJECT> tag? I'm assuming that it's similar to adding images, by using the
_data_ attribute to identify the content and _type_ to identify the MIME
type. Is _codetype_ or _classid_ needed to help the browser find the
plug-in application on the user's machine (such as ActiveX controls)?
