Daniel Connolly referred me to you.
I have a few questions about the HTML DTD  listed at
     http://www.w3.org/hypertext/WWW/MarkUp/html-spec/html.dtd
I have listed my questions under each heading of the DTD.  I'd appreciate it 
if you could take the time to answer these questions.

under SDA PARAMETER ENTITIES
     1. In "-//EC-USA-CDA/...." what is the meaning of
          EC
          CDA

under LINK MARKUP
     In the commented section explaining all the <A>  references....
     1. Does the "..." imply that authors can enter anything?
          What are typical phrases people use here?  I've seen <A 
HREF="mailto:sdbj@chmc.org"  REV="made">.
     2. What's the difference between <A HREF="..."> and <A URN="...">?
          When would the link address differ from the permanent address?
     3.Does <A REL="..."> mean "relationship of this document to the 
destination document"  and <A REV="..."> mean "relationship of the 
destination document to this document."
     4. Does "(advisory)" indicate that the text is just for the reader of 
the document's source?  Do browsers typically pay attention to this?


under IMAGES
     1. "EMPTY"  in <!ELEMENT IMG - O EMPTY> means no end tag is required?


under PARAGRAPHS
     1. "(%text)" in <!ELEMENT IMG - O (%text)> means text must follow?


under FORMS
     1. In ENCTYPE %Content-Type; "application/x-www-form-rulencoded"
          what is the meaning of the text in quotes?
     2. Is the order of ATTLIST elements the PREFERRED or MANDATED order of 
elements for that element?
