Converting .pict files to something useful?

Hi.

	Sorry if this is a FAQ.  How do you take a load of greyscale
or black&white "Pict" files scanned on a Macintosh and render something
useful from them?  I'm on a UNIX machine, and I have PBM+ and XV
installed...
