The XHTML 1.1 PER draft still has problem with its description for the datatype of the class attribute. I see that while the status section[1] states that the spec was changed to permit the class attribute to have an empty value, the "Attribute collections"[2] section still lists the datatype for class as NMTOKENS: [1] http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/2010/PER-xhtml-modularization-20100213/Overview.html#status [2] http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/2010/PER-xhtml-modularization-20100213/abstract_modules.html#s_commonatts For the record, this is a follow-up to the comment I sent to this mailing list about this issue last May: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-html-editor/2009AprJun/0019.html ...which was added to the XHTML2 voyager-issues tracker as issue 10214: http://htmlwg.mn.aptest.com/cgi-bin/voyager-issues/Modularization-abstractions?selectid=10214 -- Michael(tm) Smith http://people.w3.org/mike
