Unclarity in HTML 4.01 Specification,W3C Recommendation 24 December 1999

Hello!

   I just tried to follow the Normative Reference [MIMETYPES] in this
document -- it says:

     List of registered content types (MIME types). Download a list of
    registered content types from ftp://ftp.isi.edu/in-notes/iana/assignments/media-types/.

   That reference only leads to a FTP directory with a single README file
pointing to http://www.iana.org/, which is less than useful.

   I suspect a better reference should be to:

   http://www.iana.org/assignments/media-types/
