Hi, all, 
Is it an error in HTML 4.0 specification document?
The origin text is 
2.1 What is the World Wide Web?
The World Wide Web (Web) is a network of information resources. The Web relies on three mechanisms to make these resources readily available to the widest possible audience: 
What I think is that the "World Wide Web (Web)" should be changed to "World Wide Web (WWW)".

If there has been an errata, please ignore this message.
