XHTML 2.0: Error in 21.7. The tr element

Dear Editor,

In file: >

the first line after the attribute list is:
> The tr elements acts as a container for a row of table cells. The end tag may be omitted.

It is my understanding that all XHTML documents are XML documents and 
that in any XML document end tags are always required.  This seems to be 
an error.
