Others may have reported this already. It may be a bug in IE or a flaw in the XHTML 1.0 Schema.

Trying to view http://www.w3.org/2002/08/xhtml/xhtml1-strict.xsd in IE 6.0 (Windows XP), I get the following error.

The namespace prefix is not allowed to start with the reserved string "xml". Error processing resource 'http://www.w3.org/2002/08/xhtml/xhtml1-strict.xsd'. Line 6, Position 5
