HTML is not a printer control language.  You'd better try CSS, see
"13.3 Page breaks" of CSS2 at:

    http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-CSS2/page.html#page-breaks

Form feed character is not allowed in XML, so it's indeed out of
question ...
