Peace:

I have been using <&#151;> to show a DASH.  I receive an error message
for each use.  Reading the documentation re Characters, I only find a
<!ENTITY shy  CDATA "&#173;" -- soft hyphen = discretionary hyphen,
U+00AD ISOnum --> at
<http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/sgml/entities.html>.

Please advise as to which form I might use to render a compliant HTML
4.0 Transitional page.
