CLASS value case-sensitive?

  Attribute values are generally case-insensitive. The definition of
  each attribute in the reference manual indicates whether its value is
  case-insensitive.

I don't find a "reference manual" in the index. The "Index of
attributes" doesn't have a column for case.

Did I something?
