Hello all,
A fully functioning RSS reader written entirely in XHTML and XForms is now
available. It currently works as a side-bar in the latest version of
formsPlayer, but could easily be supported in other XForms processors. The
application also demonstrates:
* using states to drive complicated forms, with xf:bind
and @relevant;
* using CSS and xf:bind to render a 'tabbed dialog' look,
without having to use script;
* some of the new features of formsPlayer, such as:
- the 'cookie:' protocol which allows saving and loading
of instance data to and from the file system (without
requiring dialog box prompts);
- 'system tray' messages using xf:message.
Other new features in version 1.3 are:
* 'system tray' icons;
* @relevant and @validate from the XForms 1.1 draft.
