I was thinking about a new form element that is a mix between a text field
and a list. Look at http://biografica.tzone.it/examples/filterlist.html
and also Justin Whitford's work at
http://www.evolt.org/article/Dynamically_Filtering_Dropdown_Lists_in_Javascr
ipt/17/55035/index.html (a not fully working example).

Do you think it can be useful for long lists?
Can we include it in the recommendation?
