I'm not a representative of the www-forms group. I just answered the one question that I had an opinion on. I don't think that all of thw XForms details are worked out perfectly but I don't see holes as big as you seem to. E.g. I'm sure what servlets have to do with the XForms group. They are one particular implementation technology. Sun or BEA would standardize how to use them with servlets. Paul Prescod
