4.3.1 - Navigation Sequence

I suggest that the text / numbered points in 4.3.1 describing navigation 
sequence be reviewed for clarity.

I suspect I understand what is intended but the text doesn't express it 
clearly.

Several undefined terms are used. I suggest they are either clearly defined 
or an example(s) be included to remove possible ambiguity.
