XForms WD 20020821 - 4.2.1

In the second numbered point in 4.2.1 the phrase "the instance" is used 
twice.

Is "instance data" being referred to? If so then that is inconsistent with 
the Glossary which refers to an in-memory tree structure, not an external 
serialised document.

I guess that "initialization data" for the "instance data" is being referred 
to but a substitute phrase could make the text less ambiguous.
