missing slash at end of BASE HREF

Dear Clement,

while the BASE HREF tag that www4mail inserts at the beginning of
tsource requested documents is wrong when the URL ended with a slash as
http://www.autohaus-online.de/, can this insertion be suppressed so that
the document is sent truly unmodified?
