I noticed that at one time wm.ictp.trieste.it sent the "Statistics" part of
the reply encoded - see the line:

X-MIME-Autoconverted: from 8bit to quoted-printable by wm.ictp.trieste.it

Encoding to quoted-printable turns '=' into '=3D'. Perhaps the receiving
mail program didn't decode the message properly?
