i am emailing the chairs of the Web Content Authoring Guidelines WG and
the Authoring Tool Guidelines WG to ask, on behalf of the HTML WG, to
request their collaboration and cooperation with the drafting of the
following embryonic document:
1. Web Developer's Guide to HTML5 (a.k.a. HTML5 Authoring Guidelines):

in addition, it would be most advantageous if the WAI as a whole were to
provide advice, counsel and contributions to:
2. HTML5 Design Principles:
* http://www.w3.org/TR/html-design-principles/
3. Differences Between HTML4 and HTML5:
* http://www.w3.org/html/wg/html5/diff/
so i am asking the WAI Coordination Group to discuss how to best approach
documents (2) and (3) listed above, and extending a formal request to the
WCAG and ATAG working groups to actively participate in the drafting and
refining of document 1, "The Web Developer's Guide to HTML5"
