So FOAFnaut works by keeping a master database of all FOAF files.

Would it be easy to make it run by loading into a local RDF store the  
FOAF files in real time?
If you orted it to the tabulator store we could incorporate it as a  
generic browser for webs of relationships of any type, user-controlled.

Did you figure out licensing on the FoafNaut source?
