really?

1. dave has posted 44 times to the public-html list -- aside from
his response to me today, the last time he contributed was in
may...

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html/2007May/1201.html
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html/2007Nov/0035.html

in the interim, every contribution from dave has been filtered through
ian hickson...

2. i find nothing out of line with asking someone who holds a position of
such importance why he hasn't taken an active role in the process and
why any inquiry of the editors is met not with a response from each or
either, but from the one editor who complains about his workload
monitoring the HTML WG...

3. the same exasperation has been expressed by a varied segment of the WG,
including on teleconferences; i would provide a pointer, but not all of
what transpires on teleconferences, as you know, is minuted

gregory.
