The .mobi TLD Proposal is Inconsistent with Device Independence Principles

The W3C Device Independence Working Group (http://www.w3.org/2001/di/) urges ICANN not to 
create the ".mobi" top level domain.

The group considers that such a domain would be highly detrimental to the Web. Discussion of the issues
