The Talmud is one of the widely quoted examples. Sounds like you need the
name for a project.

BTW, I haven't looked at annotation in months. I didn't write the paper for
WWW9... though I still have a deadline of 1/17 for HT00. anybody else?
also still getting around to publishing the ThirdVoice standards... one of
these days.
