Humm, you are right, I wasn't aware of this Nabble feature, thanks for
sharing. :-)

Nevertheless, it seems that either the Nabble feature is buggy or that
Gmail has a bug in processing that sort of content. I'd suggest always
using plain text messages, as generally recommended [1]. ;-)

Yup, that way I'm able to see it, although the link for the specific
message is slightly different [2]. ;-)

Oh-oh, that would be a tremendous, important bug IMO.

I've tried to reduce the issue and reported bug 9111 [3] to make sure
this doesn't get lost. Just CC yourself there, if you want to be
informed of updates to it. ;-)

I'd say this is probably unrelated and I still think this particular
behavior can be even seen as a feature. That other one is definitely a
bug...
