Problem opening png format

Amaya release 9.55 for Windows (XP)

Using the following: <img src="sjc_header.png" width="847"/> and Amaya shuts
down. The same command <img src="sjc_header.jpg" width="847"/> works fine.
The png works fine in Firefox and Explorer so it does not appear that it is
corrupt. The 9k png was created using MS Image Composer. My work around is
to have Amaya not load the image. I have used a png format in another page I
created without a problem. Any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix
it?
