Meta name generator update

Just a little doubt:

is it right that Amaya doesn't update the meta generator field when you 
modify a page created with an older version?

So, for instance, if you made an xhtml page with Amaya 9.3 you will have 
in the code:

<meta name="generator" content="amaya 9.3, see http://www.w3.org/Amaya/" />

Later, when you update the same page with Amaya 9.54 the meta name 
generator field is not modified and it still refers to the 9.3 version.
