... and once again the binary packages have the same version and
release numbers as the original publication.

Please bounce the release numbers of binary packages when you
republish the packages.  That makes it considerably less effort to
do the updates.

Also, please make sure that the packages install an "amaya" symbolic
link in the user's usual path.

(These observations are against the RPM package.)
