  Hi,
 
 I had the bug too, but I can launch Amaya with the command
 
 % env XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 [amaya binary name]
 
 I haven't any idea about what this command means, I found it when I installed Amaya .deb
 
 Amaya runs normally except when I close it (I meet the bug reported at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/amaya/+bug/82185 )
