I wanted to try out the Amaya project, and downloaded two different versions for Win98: amaya-Win98-8.52 and amaya-Win98-8.8.51 neither of which loaded. There was no error message displayed, and the executable didn't appear in the task manager. I attempted to run both from the command line, I disabled my virus scanner, and I rebooted but nothing helped. I'm using Win98SE if that makes a difference.
