Thanks for this fix!

A binary made on Debian 3.1 stable from the latest CVS code is at:

  http://www.firstpr.com.au/temp/amaya/amaya-CVS-2006-10-25-clipboard-fix.gz

Keyboard and Menu copy and paste commands work fine in the main and
source editing window, to and from the main system clipboard.

Two less serious problems remain:

In the URL bar, or whatever it is where the location of the current
file is entered and displayed, I can Copy and Paste with the Edit menu
but not with Cntrl-C or Cntrl-V.

Cntrl Z in the URL bar does not reverse a recent change in the URL bar,
but undoes the most recent change in the main or source window.
