most programs AUTOMATICALLY save the current window geometry for any window. Amaya makes you go thru hoops Edit Configure WindowGeometry Save ..... cant this be made automatic or at least an option to use automatic or forced configure after i take the trouble to properly size/position windows which seem to default to 1024 wide rez andd then lose them makes one frustrated and why not set defaults smartly so that on a 800x600 display that they look ok .... and for widrt displays as well .... amaya should not assume zny specific hardware even if it is the most common ..... many of use chose to be out of the mainstream --- that is why we bother looking at amaya at all ..... -- -- John Russell, VE3LL@RAC.CA http://home.cogeco.ca/~ve3ll http://home.cogeco.ca/~trains http://home.cogeco.ca/~cipher
