CSS support for position: fixed in 8.8.4?

In the matrix of CSS support, it says, for 'position', "Fixed position is
managed as absolute position."

My interpretation of this is, "Position: fixed will be rendered as if
position: absolute had been specified."

Clearly (see http://pages.prodigy.net/chris_beall/Amaya/positionedbox.html)
this is not currently the case with Amaya 8.8.4.  The two positionings are
rendered quite differently.  Does 8.8.4 support position: fixed?
